Absolutely. The common myth is that mowing over the poop will chop it into fine bits and distribute it throughout the yard. This is simply not true. While the mower may cut it up or fling it into different areas of the yard, it is still there. We still need to collect the waste to keep your yard as pristine as possible.
While water may wash away most things it will not carry away or dissolve the animal poop in your yard. We will still be running routes except in extreme weather cases. Might as well let us complete the collection rather than having double to clean up the next week.
We will still try to collect in unmaintained yards unless the grass is deemed by the tech to be too tall to effectively collect. At this point we will leave and still charge the visit. Please maintain your yard so we can perform our duties to the best of our ability.
Grass taller than 3 inches makes the poop more difficult to see but we will still do our best to catch every pile. Per the terms of Service 3 inch tall grass is the recommended height for best clean.
You will receive a notification that the tech is on the way prior to your service visit. If you believe that your dog may be a danger to the tech please make sure they are inside at the time of service.
If the animal has been designated as unsafe in our system and is in the yard at the time of visit the tech will cancel the visit. If multiple attempts are made to clean the property where the unsafe pet is not inside, it will lead to cancellation of service with no refund.
We applaud you on taking your and your pet's safety seriously. Just please remember to keep the gate unlocked or let us know how to unlock the gate on the date of service.
